Facebook used to have a built-in 'Facebook code' in the mobile app, but Meta retired it. The good news: any standard QR code that encodes your Facebook page URL works fine — and it's better, because you can track scans and edit the destination later.
Get your Facebook page URL
- Open your Facebook page on desktop.
- Copy the URL from the address bar (e.g. facebook.com/yourpagename).
- If you don't have a vanity URL yet, set one in 'About → Username' first — it's free.
Generate the QR
Paste the URL into Linkly's free QR generator. Add your brand colors and drop your logo in the center. Download PNG for digital, SVG for print.
Bonus: a QR that opens Messenger directly
Use the URL format m.me/yourpagename — scanning opens a Messenger chat with your page, perfect for customer support QRs at the counter or on packaging.
Where to print it
- Shop window or storefront sign
- Product packaging ('Follow us for restock alerts')
- Business cards and flyers
- Event booths and trade shows
- Vehicle wraps and delivery boxes
Track which placement works
Generate a separate QR per placement — Linkly counts scans per code so you'll see whether the storefront or the packaging actually drives follows.
