1. Agreement
By accessing or using Linkly ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Linkly, the legal seller and operator of the Service ("Linkly", "we", "us", "our"). For all questions regarding these Terms or the Service, contact us at hello@linklyqr.app.
2. The Service
Linkly provides:
- Free QR code generator — design and download QR codes without creating an account.
- Hosted mini-pages — bio (Linktree-style) pages and restaurant menus published at public URLs (
linklyqr.lovable.app/p/<slug>and/m/<slug>). This feature requires a free account and a paid Pro subscription for unlimited use.
3. Accounts
To create or host mini-pages you must register an account using a Google login. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
4. Subscriptions, billing & taxes
Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns, billing, sales tax, VAT, GST and currency conversion on our behalf. Your bank statement may show "Paddle*Linkly" or similar.
You authorize us (via Paddle) to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel. Prices may change with 30 days' notice; price changes do not affect your current billing period.
5. Cancellation & refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by contacting us. Your Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to use Linkly to create, host, link to or distribute content that:
- is illegal, infringes intellectual property, or violates any third-party rights;
- contains malware, phishing, or attempts to deceive scanners;
- is sexually explicit, exploits minors, or promotes violence or hatred;
- relates to regulated goods (drugs, weapons, gambling, financial scams) without proper authorization;
- spams, harasses, or impersonates another person or organization in a misleading way.
We may remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate the Service for violations without prior notice.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of all content you upload (page text, images, links). By uploading, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display and serve that content as needed to operate the Service. You represent that you have the rights to all content you upload.
8. Intellectual property
The Linkly name, logo, design, source code, and underlying technology are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.
9. Service availability
We aim for high availability but provide the Service "as is" without warranty of uptime. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. Generated QR code images themselves are static — they continue to work even if the Service is unavailable.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linkly is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or for prolonged inactivity. On termination, your hosted mini-pages will be unpublished.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction of residence to the extent required by mandatory consumer law; otherwise by the laws applicable to our place of business. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts.
